Lou Anne Crawley-Stout, MBA, CLSSBB, PMP, is a Lean Improvement Specialist for NC State University-Industrial Extension Service (IES). She serves as a primary link in a partnership between the Center of Public Health Quality and IES to facilitate quality improvement for state and local public health initiatives.  She has 11 years of experience in public health and hospital performance improvement, training and coaching leaders and staff in lean methodology and tools to foster a continuous quality improvement culture. Lou Anne earned a BS in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University and an MBA at the Indiana Institute of Technology.  She is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB), with master black belt training.
