Strengthen Your QI Skills at the Center’s QI Boot Camp Lunch n’ Learn Series

The Center for Public Health Quality’s “QI Boot Camp Lunch n’ Learn Series” is underway. The series kicked-off with its first lunch n’ learn held on July 30th titled “The Model for Improvement “. During this session participants walked through the Model for Improvement (MFI) utilizing the Center for Public Health Quality’s Step by Step Guide. The MFI is a QI frame work that provides a guide for implementing improvement. This framework has been used broadly and successfully in health care settings and public health agencies statewide. The Step by Step Guide is an interactive web-based tool that provides an in-depth overview of the MFI and provides downloaded tools and resources.
This inaugural lunch n’ learn was a success, where over 92% of evaluation respondents (n=28) reported they were satisfied or highly satisfied with the session; and nearly 90% of the respondents reported they learned something new!

- Problem Solving & Decision Making Tools – September 11th from 12:00pm – 1:15pm
- Recognition & Celebrations – September 30th from 12:00pm – 1:15pm
The lunch n’ learns are accessible to public health staff (state, local or partnering agencies). Participants have the option of attending lunch n’ learns in person at the NC Division of Public Health located in Raleigh, NC; or virtually via Adobe Connect web-conferencing service.
