Five DPH teams will participate in Wave B of the DPH QI 101 program that kicked off in November 2012. We are very excited to start new QI journeys with this outstanding group of DPH staff:
- Chronic Disease & Injury Section Operations- will focus on improving the process of preparing and submitting purchase requests.
- Environmental Health Food Protection and Facilities Branch - will focus on improving their customer satisfaction rates.
- Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program- will focus on by streamlining data collection, improving the quality of monthly program data sent from local programs to state team staff, and optimizing programs’ effective use of data to improve services to children and families in their community.
- Nutrition Services Administrative Review team - will focus on improving the overall timeliness and efficiency of the monitoring process by increasing the number of institutions that have accurate records at the time of review.
- Women’s Health Branch- will focus on decreasing the turnaround time between Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program data submission and final report.
